Causes Of Corrosion Of Stainless Steel Wire Mesh
Mar 30, 2022
Different varieties have different properties, and different stainless steel wire mesh products are used in different categories. Saving duplex stainless steel is a new type of stainless steel. 50% austenite and 50% ferrite of traditional duplex stainless steel are obtained by balancing the proportion of alloying elements. This stainless steel has the most excellent corrosion resistance and mechanical functions. With the rising price of raw materials, the economical duplex stainless steel has achieved good development in recent years. This stainless steel has stronger yield and tensile strength than traditional duplex stainless steel. Despite these advantages, the corrosion resistance and impact fracture toughness will be weakened. So why is the economical duplex stainless steel eroded? Through the research of scientists, it is found that taking 2101 and 2304 stainless steels as examples, 2101 and 2304 show ductile behavior within the limitation of 550 ℃ to 850 ℃, but their discrimination is that 2101 will have brittle fracture under other conditions, while 2304 will continue to show ductile behavior. Through research, scientists have come to the conclusion that 2304 is more conducive to the composition of secondary austenite.
